Overview
Clauger is a family-owned, newly funded, company which excels in providing industrial refrigeration and air treatment solutions that are customized to fit your needs. The Service Technician is responsible for refrigeration repair and maintenance support to industrial accounts in the food and beverage, cold storage, pharmaceutical, and gas processing industries.
This position is responsible for creating thorough and accurate proposals and estimates. Must be highly technical with the ability to solve customer problems and meet their needs. Project Developer should work closely with sales and other members of the team to maintain customer satisfaction. After award of project the Project Developer will handoff the day-to-day management and design and function in a project executive role. This includes accountability for resolving issues and ultimate decision making.

Duties

Work with customer to meet needs and define scope

Verify sales leads before spending resources on efforts

Generate proposal and estimate

i. Write scope of work and any necessary drawings
ii. Complete full equipment schedules with options listed
iii. Complete subcontractor bid packages
iv. Obtain pricing
v. Review labor with field
vi. Produce project schedule
vii. Review proposal with project team

After award, verify contract terms and compile handoff package

Maintain customer communication and ensure project satisfaction

Required Education, Experience, and/or Licenses

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering

Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial refrigeration

Professional Engineer license preferred
Work Environment
Office. Site visits to active job sites and manufacturing facilities will be required. Must comply with Clauger, OSHA, and site safety rules and PPE requirements.
