We are based in Chicago, IL, Atlanta GA and Jacksonville, FL to serve our 300+ customers across the US.


Clauger North America is moving from a locally based $35m revenue company to a Nationwide $100m revenue contractor.

As Clauger Financial Controller, you will play a key role in the transformation of the Finance organization of the company. You will be asked to bring innovative ideas and leadership to increase process efficiency and transform the organization.

You will support the monitoring of the economic performance of the company, working in close relationship with both operation and finance teams. You will provide the business with strong economic analysis and support the performance of the operations. 

You will report to Clauger North America CFO.

Detailed Responsibilities

  • General accounting: you will oversee general accounting processes to ensure quality and compliance of the financial information

  • Consolidation and Financial Reporting: you will support the production and analysis of Clauger North America consolidated financial statements (5 legal entities)

  • Cash and bank:

o   You will oversee day-to-day cash management of the Group (cash pooling between entities, prioritization, collection…)

o   You will produce weekly cash flow forecast

  • Tax and compliance:

o   You supervise sales and use tax processes: compliance with State obligations, management of exemption certificates, obtention of resale certificates…

o   State and Federal income tax: you are the main contact point of our tax advisors. You will drive ad-hoc Nexus analysis and make sure that we comply with all local and Federal obligations

  •  Business registration: you support new State business registrations (business license, sales tax number, withholding tax number)

  • EBITDA and CASH objectives: you will support Management and Divisions in achieving their Budget objectives (cash / Ebitda)

  • Continuous improvement projects: you will support the Group effort in transforming the Finance function:

o   ERP implementation

o   Reporting

o   Optimization of processes (AP / AR / Cash / Reporting / Consolidation…)

Risk management: you will help Clauger to address and mitigate both operational and financial risks: you will play a key role in implementing processes and procedure to address risks of frauds, non-compliance…


10+ years of professional experience acting as a financial controller or CFO.

CPA / Statutory Audit accounting background required to meet the objectives of the position.

Leadership, communication and management skills are required.
