For the continuous growth of the Company, we want to include an Application Engineer dedicated to the Marine business. The right candidate has experience in the Engineering Industry, ideally with a focus on Industrial Refrigeration and/or Marine Refrigeration Systems or Food or Oil&Gas Industrial plants, will be based in Bologna but is expected to visit customers abroad and Italy and French offices.
Mission:
Use advanced-level engineering knowledge to provide technical pre-sales support and quotations, perform engineering development and help translate customer requirements into exciting new applications, supporting the development of business in alignment with the strategical goals of the company within a multi-disciplinary and multinational team.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· Work independently and contribute to all technical activities throughout the sales opportunity lifecycle, interact with customers to understand their needs and engineering design workflows and articulate the value proposition
· Handling customer’s technical enquiries and translate the need in qualified technical offers
· Recommends solutions and performs technical visits (meetings, audits, demonstrations, troubleshooting, etc.) for customers, with documentation
· Apply advanced engineering expertise and knowledge of refrigeration application to provide the highest level of designing
· Technical Support to Customers, Sales Force, Marketing, Production, Service
· Support the continuous improvement of the technical solutions, even through the feedback from prefabrication and production
· Promotes internally innovations and best learnings across the company
Essential requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in STEM disciplines, preferably Mechanical, Electronical, Chemical
· Previous experience of minimum 5 years within Marine industry or Refrigeration sectors is desirable
· Fluent in English
· Project management approach and passion to use the PM tools
· Well-developed customer facing skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, flexible, with the ability to multitask
· High degree of enthusiasm and problem-solving skills
· IT skills - Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 package, ability to work in a digitalized environment
· Fluent in English
· Ability to travel up to 20% of time

Classification and remuneration: to be defined on the basis of experience and skills (CCNL Metalmeccanica).
