Overview

The Director of Construction is responsible for the execution of all construction projects.  This includes all field quality, schedule and profitability.  This role requires creating and enforcing policy, guidelines and culture.

Duties

  • Develop and maintain execution policies and procedures
  • Review labor forecasts and make proactive decisions to meet company needs
  • Develop and maintain training requirements
  • Report monthly project projections and make proactive decisions
  • Work with project execution team to schedule, procure, install project

Standardization

  • Comply with documented company standards
  • Maintain consistency across deliverables
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of policy and procedures

  • Maintain and enforce compliance with project closeout procedure
  • Enforcement of pump-down procedures and documentation

Work Environment

This position is office based with active job sites and manufacturing facilities visits.  Must comply with Clauger, OSHA, and site safety rules and PPE requirements.The personne will be expected to travel 30% of the time.

Required Education, Experience, and/or Licenses

  • 10 years+ of experience in industrial refrigeration
  • Proficient in cloud-based project management software
  • Proficient in MS Project or similar
  • OSHA 30-hour certification
